CICADA is rooted in memory.
Born in the Sonoran Desert in 2021, CICADA began with a fascination for the way scent can instantly return us to a moment: desert rain on warm earth, citrus blossoms in spring, dry grasses moving through an open field, or the mineral air of a distant coastline.
Archiving the landscape
Since 2021, our collection has grown from desert-inspired home fragrance into a wider exploration of the American landscape, with fragrances inspired by deserts, coastlines, mountains, prairies, riverlands, and canyons.
Many of the images on the archival packaging come from years of traveling the landscape, and personally recording these incredible places.

Every product is handcrafted in the American Southwest where desert light, heat, and horizon shape the way we see and preserve memory. Hand poured, hand labeled, and hand finished. We work with clean ingredients and intentional materials, so what remains is honest… and true to place.
